Dunlap School win EMI Award with Einstein’s Theory using Quiver

Here at QuiverVision we were super excited to hear recently about a very special 3rd and 4th grade combination class at Ralph Dunlap School in the Orcutt Union School District located on the central coast of California, between Los Angeles and San Francisco. This class is not just any group of third and fourth graders, but award winning 3rd and 4th graders for their Einstein’s Theory video in which they used Quiver in one of the most creative ways we have seen so far.

The class teacher; Mr. Robert Schmalbach got in touch to thank Quiver and let us know of their achievement, but we feel all the thanks belongs to you Mr. Schmalbach and your class of brilliant young Einstein’s for the work they created.

“This year our room was lucky enough to receive a class set of iPads. Our goal is to have students creating learning content utilizing the many great tools, such as Quiver, that are now available to our schools.” said Mr. Schmalbach.
“In the spring, our district sponsors the Educational Media Innovation Awards (EMIs). Other local districts are invited to join our schools in submitting classroom videos that compete for various awards. Each of the 32 students in our class filmed a Quiver segment for our entry.”

Even more remarkable was that Mr. Schmalbach said “Einstein’s Theory was uploaded to Vimeo.com and has more views than all of the other videos entered in this year’s EMI Awards!”

You can watch their award winning video below.

Huge congratulations from everyone at QuiverVision and we’re already looking forward to seeing your next masterpiece. (P.S. Go Dolphins!)
